Great time at the April General Meeting

We had a fabulous turn out at the April General Board meeting. Officer Fyles served up NSN Brisket- that’s No Sauce Needed! Oh my, I have been eating Texas BBQ for a long time, but this was the best ever! Just in case your wondering, yes he does cater all kinds of events. In addition to the yummy teacher/parent dinner, we honored our retiring teachers (Jonas, Swenson, and Dewey- we even got meet Ms. Swenson and Ms. Dewey!), elected the impressive slate of officers the nominating committee proposed, gave away door prizes, and auctioned off two elite under the cover parking spaces for two lucky students. I would like to invite you to the Awards Banquet open to all CVHS staff, students and family on May 19. Dinner tickets are $17 and can be purchased at http//www.vanguardian.org. You may attend without a dinner ticket. The year is winding down and my tenure as President is coming to an end. I have had a great time serving the CVHS Community. I will be leaving you in the capable hands of 15-16 President, Joan Khosla.
